Hungary
There is no place like Hungary (Magyarország). Situated in the very heart of Europe , this kidney-shaped country can claim a unique place in the continent's soul. Doubters need only listen to the music of Franz Liszt and Béla Bartók, view the romantic Danube River as it dramatically splits Budapest in two or taste the nation's unique (and paprika-infused) cuisine to be convinced. Hungary 's impact on Europe 's history and development has been far greater than its present size and population would suggest. Hungarians, who call themselves Magyars, speak a language and form a culture unlike any other in the region - a distinction that has been both a source of pride and an obstacle for more than 1100 years.
The '90s were not a stellar time for the reborn republic. Its economic development was in limbo and serious economic problems affected all aspects of daily life. Thankfully, those days are past and many now view Hungary , with its intelligent, hard-working populace, and rich and vibrant culture, as the star performer and most interesting destination of the new Europe .

Marmaris - part 2
Here is something more about Marmaris from my personal experience. First of all, I would always suggest it as a perfect place for vacation. Main reasson is because it is not so large place but on the other hand there is enough stores, bars and people that you can never get bored. I must mention that next to Marmaris is another, even smaller place Icmeler, which is a copy of "older brother" Marmaris. Little bit later abour it more.
Beach in Marmaris can not be considered as perfect in any case but beaches around which you can reach easily by boats which are everything but expensive are so beautiful that you will be more then excited. Small, completely out of sight and city, with sand so white and water so clear that on the moments you will think that you are in hotel pool. It's that kind of beaches which you see in postcards (if someone is still using them) and on desktop wallpapers. There are so many little and bigger boat cruises which can get you there very easily and in short time.

Cuba
A sharp contrast from Havana is Varadero, a resort of modern hotels boasting one of the Caribbean 's best beaches with 12.5 miles of white sand and turquoise waters. You will also find fabulous beaches in the Cayosand Holguin province, especially Guardalavaca which has swiftly become a favorite with tourists.
Although Cuba is opening up and changing fast, visitors should have an open mind and be prepared to accept a few hiccups, from capricious power supplies to the 'speed' of service. The Cubans are still getting used to the impact of tourism, so a little patience will ease your way. But these are minor inconveniences, compared to the exuberant music and excellent beaches. Come and discover this intoxicating island!
Sicily
With a rugged cliffs tower over long, sandy beaches and plains of citrus groves which dominate the terrain and ancient mediaeval villages standing majestically on hilltops together with incredible archaeological sites Sicily is continuing to withstand the passing of time.
Mount Etna and Catania . Dominating the landscape of eastern Sicily is Etna, Europe 's largest active volcano that attracts thousands of tourists every year. Situated between its slopes and the Ionian Sea is the island's second city, Catania . Damaged by earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, Catania is today the result of 18th century rebuilding.

Ibiza
Archaeological sites on the very islands are fast becoming realized because the tourists decided to change direction away from the crowded white-sandy beaches. Ibiza Town itself has many stunning attractions, whilst various other resorts and inland have buildings and relics dating from the Bronze Age, the Roman times, up to British occupation – plus many modern monuments and churches.
In addition to this, there is the amazingly diverse topography. The beaches are soft, golden and plentiful while in inland you'll find delightful unspoiled villages, mandarin groves and incredible mountain scenery.
If you want to party until dawn then dance some more, the south of the island is your desired destination where you can find plenty of night clubs and cafés.
Despite its reputation, much of Ibiza has been left alone by the developers, so you can still enjoy a calm beach holiday in a typical Ibiza village if you wish – with all the fun stuff just a few miles away.

Dominican Republic
Occupying the eastern half of the isle of Hispaniola, the Dominican Republic enjoys year-round sunshine, some of the best beaches in the Caribbean and a lush interior. It boasts excellent white sand beaches on the north, south-east and east coasts, as well as beautiful countryside, from mangrove swamps to mountain ranges and waterfalls. Wildlife includes manatees and the famous gathering of humpback whales in the Bahía de Samaná. Add to this its colonial charm and infectious music and dance which are at the heart of Dominican culture.
But it is not just the country's beauty that makes it worth a visit - the Dominican Republic also has a reputation for having some of the friendliest people in the whole Caribbean , providing a warm welcome and genuine hospitality. In addition there are some excellent tourist facilities, eclectic architecture and you're never too far away from a party. Its Latin soul also adds a dash of excitement not found in the British and French isles of the West Indies . Add to this heady mix the clearest, most inviting seas you'll ever swim in and it's not hard to imagine enjoying yourself in the beautiful Dominican Republic .

Greece
Few places in the whole world have such a strong and individual identity as Greece . It has its own culture, its own language and even its own alphabet. It's also the birthplace of democracy and the starting point for Western world. Many of the greatest philosophers and writers ever came from Ancient Greece, as well as the world's most enduring mythology and legend.
Most of the major sights are located around the capital, Athens . The majestic Parthenon, the theatres of Dionyssos and Herod Atticus; the ancient Agora and a host of other monuments, ancient, Byzantine and modern await exploration. Discover narrow winding streets lined with pavement cafes or the quayside taverns of the harbors of Zea ad Mikrolimano, where you will find delicious fish dished and cool Greek wines. Although the Greeks are fierce guardians of tradition, that doesn't mean they don't know how to have fun - their partiality to partying dates all the way back to Dionysos. Nightlife is plentiful and lively with numerous bars, although you may find ancient dramas or shows at the Acropolis for a more cultured evening.
Greek countryside is diverse and varies throughout the country. From lush greenery, to mountains, to sun baked rocks. However, it is consistently beautiful and which ever island you may choose you can guarantee it will provide a stunning backdrop to your holiday. But Greece 's crowning glory are the breath taking beaches. With more coastline that any other country in Europe it is a true beach lovers paradise.
The islands in Greece have everything from party resorts to places where you can just relax and forget all your troubles - check out our range of Greece hotels to explore where you want to visit. For thrilling shopping holidays to Greece , the capital of Athens will bring you up-market boutiques and branded clothes at great prices, whereas the resorts and little craft stalls dotted around the country sell traditional Greek pottery and trinkets.
Barcelona
Where to start might be the only problem to consider when visiting Barcelona . City breaks to this bustling city offer so many attractions that it can be difficult to decide where to start. From Las Ramblas, Barcelona's most famous street, which bustles all day and night, to the awe-inspiring majesty of Gaudi's world famous Sagrada Familia, the, as yet unfinished, cathedral which reaches high into the skyline, there is no end to the delights that the city has to offer.
If you can tear yourself away from the city during your short break, Barceloneta Beach , a 4km stretch of golden sands, offers a beach holiday feel with the city on the doorstep. In addition, the Port Aventura theme park is easy to reach by rail and is one of the most applauded amusement parks in Europe . However, you would be forgiven for wishing to stay in Barcelona itself during your weekend break - there is literally so much going on in this cultural hotspot that you might never want to leave.
It's a city rich in culture, Catalan of course, and one which loves to party. You'll easily unearth tiny bars tucked away down side streets, impromptu street cafes setting up in summer, beach-side festivals and wide, elegant boulevards punctuated with splashing fountains and handsomely proportioned squares.
Lako ćete otkriti malene barove zabačene u uličicama, impovizova ulice-kafiće postavljene u leto, festivale na plažama i šire, elegantne bulevare isprekidane fontanama i lepim proporcionalnim trgovima.

Machu Picchu
There are several places in the world which are very intriguing and famous for their historic architecture. However expecting to see the amazing sites in a place like Machu Picchu is actually the most wondrous thing. It is located about 2350 meters above sea level and the flora and fauna includes some of the most exotic flowers lie Orchids. Many popular historians have visited this place and discovered the hidden amazing beauties and revealed to the rest of the world. Located well above in the Urubamba Valley of Peru it has the most amazing scenic views to offer. Today it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and there are some concerns on tourism for the Peru government. Ecologically Machu Picchu has to be treated very delicately by tourists as it represents the rich heritage of the Inca tribes.
There are three main areas in this lace, agricultural, religious and historical. What you notice among the three kinds of laces is a distinct harmony and form. All of them have been arranged neatly with through planning and the only difference is that this kind of planning was done some thousands of years ago.
Visiting the religious areas gives an insight into a whole new world where god existed in other forms and also a great revelation into how people worshipped their beliefs.
Trekking the Inca trail can be exorbitant as it has something hidden at every step of your way. Many tourists vouch that it can be a very intellectually stimulating experience.
Exploring the hill side and viewing the exotic and picturesque surroundings is also a never ending experience.

Marmaris
One of the best places to visit in Turkey is Marmaris. Maybe not so well known as other popular holiday destinations in Turkey but if you are looking for active vacation this is the right place to be. With location relatively close to all interesting excursion sights Marmaris is on the top list comparing to others.
You can also make your holiday quiet with many hidden beaches if that is what you prefer.
There is something for everyone but by my opinion best combination is little bit of everything.

This natural monument is composed of two in the world of rare, natural phenomena: soil figures as specific forms of relief that the area very attractive, and two very acidic water with high mineral content.
The site of a strange name “Devil’s Town” is located near an also strangely named village Djake (comes from a Turkish word “gjak” – blood), at an altitude of 660-700 m, situated in the municipality of Kursumlija . Earthen figures or “towers” as the locals call them are located in the watershed between two gullies, whose sources joined together create a unique erosive formation, tremendously demolished by the erosive processes. The gullies also have strange names: “Devil’s Gully” (“Djavolja jaruga”) and “Hell’s Gully” (“Paklena jaruga”).
There are 202 earthen figures of different shape and dimension, from 2 m to 15 m in height, and from 0.5 m to 3 m in width, with stone caps on the top. They are an outcome of a specific erosive process that lasts for centuries. When figures are formed, they grow, change, shorten, gradually (very slowly) disappear and reappear. The loose soil is dissolved and washed away by the rain. However, the material under the stone caps is protected from the “bombardment” of the rain drops and washout, and remains in place in the form of the rising earthen pillars – figures.
Chott el Djerid
Chott el Djerid is the largest salt lake in Tunisia and largest in the Sahara . Due to extreme climate and temperatures up to 50° C water evaporates from the lake so in the summer this lake is almost completely dry. The towns Kebili and Douz are near.
Chott el Djerid was used as a filming location for the Star Wars series, among others.
Pamukkale
Pamukkale, meaning "cotton castle" in Turkish, is a natural site in Denizli Province in south-western Turkey . The city contains hot springs and travertines, terraces of carbonate minerals left by the flowing water. It is located in Turkey 's Inner Aegean region, in the River Menderes valley, which has a temperate climate for most of the year.
The ancient city of Hierapolis was built on top of the white "castle" which is in total about 2,700 metres (8,860 ft) long, 600 m (1,970 ft) wide and 160 m (525 ft) high. It can be seen from the hills on the opposite side of the valley in the town of Denizli , 20 km away.
